Prince George has been given what is believed to be the biggest and most expensive birthday card ever — a colourful greeting on the side of an air plane.

The UK-listed global aviation management and charter company, Hangar8 Aviation, headquartered at London Oxford Airport, has used one of its aircraft to wish Prince George a happy first birthday.

“Happy Birthday Prince George. From your friends at Hangar8″ it says with white letters on a red background down the side of the plane. On the engines it says “G-EORGE” and the tale features a birthday cake with one candle.

The grand gesture has been designed by award winning British design studio, Andrew Winch Designs, and has a market value of 120,000 British Pounds.
