King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were at the Eindhoven Airbase today to attend a ceremony for the victims of downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. Prince Laurent of Belgium (first picture on the left) was also present to represent King Philippe, for the Belgian victims.
Prince George has been given what is believed to be the biggest and most expensive birthday card ever — a colourful greeting on the side of an air plane.
The UK-listed global aviation management and charter company, Hangar8 Aviation, headquartered at London Oxford Airport, has used one of its aircraft to wish Prince George a happy first birthday.
“Happy Birthday Prince George. From your friends at Hangar8″ it says with white letters on a red background down the side of the plane. On the engines it says “G-EORGE” and the tale features a birthday cake with one candle.
The grand gesture has been designed by award winning British design studio, Andrew Winch Designs, and has a market value of 120,000 British Pounds.
